If you ask Jessica Simpson anything about her recent pregnancy experience, we bet she would tell you about the many difficulties she has had to face throughout it. However, this has not impacted her mood in any way now that her daughter, Birdie Mae, has finally opened her eyes in this world.
In fact, Simpson has maintained a very positive outlook so that her family, especially her two children, remains excited to welcome the newest member of the family.
Welcoming a Daughter
Just last month Simpson shared the news with the world that she had given birth to a healthy baby girl and had named her Birdie Mae.
Of course, millions of her fans rushed to congratulate the singer on social media, although we bet many did so because they were aware of the difficult pregnancy their idol had experienced (thanks to the fact that Simpson had been vocal about her woes on multiple platforms).
According to the information that Simpson had shared during her pregnancy, she suffered from acid reflux of a severe kind in addition to having a severe form of swelling on her foot. She also experienced sciatica pain and also had to go through the onset of bronchitis several times.
Keeping a Smile on Her Face
Simpson had to deliver Birdie via a C-section which, as you may know, takes a much longer time to heal than it takes to heal if a baby is delivered in a natural way.
However, according to a source close to her, she is not bothered about the long healing period and instead has chosen to focus on maintaining a cheerful mood, mostly because she is very excited to have welcomed another girl into the family.
The Heaviest Baby
Although she may not be the heaviest baby at birth in the world, Birdie has certainly beaten the record set by her elder sister Maxwell Drew when she was born weighing an impressive 10 pounds and 13 ounces, around a pound more than the latter’s weight at the time of her birth. Reportedly, Maxi had been proud of her record and did not want her baby sister to surpass her.
However, this does not mean that there is any discord between the two sisters. In fact, the two remain inseparable because Maxi, who is now six and a half years of age, and also her younger brother Ace Knute, who is around five and a half years old, both love their baby sister very much.
Loving Motherhood
Inside sources have revealed that Simpson loves the motherhood experience and does not shy away from spending quality time with her kids. Even during her pregnancy, she made sure to remain involved in her children’s lives by volunteering at their school or making everyday life full of fun and excitement.
Back in January, as a way of celebrating the oncoming arrival of Birdie, Simpson threw a baby shower party which she called Birdie’s Nest, which was also a way of revealing the name she had chosen for her yet unborn daughter.
