In recent news, we saw Wendy Williams shutting down the rumors regarding her marriage with Kevin Hunter. She guaranteed the media that she will be wearing her wedding ring for the rest of her life.

When she caught Kevin cheating on her for the first time, which was around the same time as the birth of their son, she chose to stay together. She recently admitted on her talk show that she had been living at a sober home for her problems with drugs. Reportedly, when Wendy had found out about her husband’s alleged affair, she was absolutely furious, and now years later she has even admitted that she wanted to take his life at that point in time.

Apparently, Wendy has filed for a divorce after she reportedly came to know that Kevin’s mistress had given birth to his child. According to reports, Williams was hospitalized for drinking too much on the same day that Kevin’s child from this mistress was born.
Kevin Hunter’s affair with his mistress, Sharina Hudson, is said to have played a huge role in the deteriorating health of his wife, Wendy. The shock of this news reportedly caused Wendy to relapse and has prompted her to resume with her alcoholism.
The Sudden Decision
Wendy’s decision to end her marriage seems very sudden, and rightfully as well. Previously on her talk show, she had addressed the rumors and had stated that she will stand by her husband forever.
Even a few hours before filing for a divorce, Wendy was seen wearing the wedding ring, given to her by Kevin, on her talk show. Wendy has never denied any rumors to this day and has been open about her decision to stay.
She even went on to stay that, after being with Kevin for 28 years, she considers him a best friend and also a lover.

The rumors regarding Kevin Hunter’s infidelity have been around since the birth of the pair’s first child. That is why many would argue that this divorce was somewhat expected.
