You can ask anyone about the biggest musicians currently dominating the global music industry, and Taylor Swift’s name would surely come up.
This is because Swift has been delivering megahit albums and songs for many years now, and her fame has reached that point when even a single word out of her mouth makes headlines around the world.
Now fans can’t wait for her seventh album to come out as they have memorized all of the songs on her sixth album Reputation. Swift even released a documentary covering the stadium tour for this album on the streaming service Netflix, so we practically know everything there is to know about it.
But, as we wait for that time when she would eventually announce her seventh album, let’s be productive with our time and refresh our Taylor Swift knowledge, especially the bits which are not common knowledge.
Writing All The Songs
Although Swift has co-written most, if not all, of her songs with other lyricists and artists, when it came to her third album called Speak Now, she went ahead and wrote the songs for it all by herself.
This was not something that Swift had pre-planned. According to her, the opportunity to have other artists add some lyrics into these songs never arose as she would finish these songs all by herself in the middle of the night, at a time when it was impractical to get someone else’s opinion on them.
A Writer
There is no doubt that Swift is a great songwriter judging by the quality of her lyrics, but did you know that at one point in her life she also wrote an entire novel?
Well, according to an interview that Swift gave to GQ back in 2015, when she was 14 years old, Swift completed a novel by the name A Girl Named Girl, and although it did not become a bestseller, you can still find a copy of it with her parents.
An Acting Role
There is no doubt in our minds that Taylor is a multitalented person, and so it came as no surprise when we found out that she had featured in one of the episodes of the CBS show called CSI: Crime Scene Investigation back in the year 2009 as a character that eventually gets her life taken.
A Good Friend
Even though she has become a highly successful artist, Swift has not let go of her childhood friendships, which became very evident when, back in 2016, she attended the wedding of Britany Maack, one of her childhood friends, by traveling all the way to Redding, Pennsylvania.
Not only that, but Swift also performed the crucial role of being the maid of honor, and in addition to all her duties, delivered a phenomenal and heart-touching speech about the definition of real love.
Riding Horses
When she was a young girl and her parents could not have perceived that she would grow up to become such an amazing performer, her mother wanted her to become a professional horseback rider, according to an interview Swift gave to Vogue back in 2016.
However, when she reached the age of 12, Swift realized she was not passionate about the sport and informed her mother of her decision to not do it anymore.
