Royal Honeymoon
It was such a beautiful fairytale wedding indeed. Almost every girl dreams of her own magical princess wedding, but what most girls don’t realize is that real life royals don’t exactly get to just relax and have everything done for them and travel the world after they tie the knot. This is exactly what happened to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who got married last weekend at St. George Chapel at the Windsor castle.
They are indeed no like every couple because they would need to postpone their honeymoon to get back to royal duties. They have released the official photographs of their wedding last Monday as a gratitude to everyone who wished them good graces for their marriage. Instead of going on a honeymoon, Harry and Meghan had to do a couple of royal duties and the very first one was to make an appearance at Prince Charles’s 70th birthday at the Buckingham Palace.
This marked the beginning of Meghan’s royal life as the Duchess of Sussex. She has actually been given the blessing by the Palace to fight for feminism, which will begin right after they come back from their honeymoon, whenever it may be. It was reported that it will be the Duchess’ duty to promote women empowerment and gender equality for all. This wouldn’t be the very first time that Meghan will work on these type of campaigns since she had previously worked with the UN Women as well as the World Vision.
As for the honeymoon destination, it is expected that it wouldn’t, of course, be publicly announced for the privacy of the couple. However, it is predicted that the newlyweds’ royals will actually be choosing either Botswana or Namibia. Royal experts said that the Duke of Sussex knows Africa very well and he will most likely take his wife to either of these places.
The Kensington Palace has officially announced that this honeymoon won’t actually be happening anytime soon since the two will be busy with royal duties for the time being. Royals experts also said that this could be a strategy since they are definitely still on the spotlight and would like to keep it there for a couple of more days until the public loses interest since all they would be doing are making appearances on public engagements.

Royals Living At The Kensington Palace
Another major question that everyone has been talking about is where the new royal couple would be taking residence. Well, just like almost every member of the House of Windsor, except for the Queen, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex will be living at the Kensington Palace in London.
Three generations of the British royal family is currently living there and so far there are 15 of them. It may seem like a lot but it is not just a house or a mansion, it is a Palace so they wouldn’t even notice that one of the other is actually there.
Living in the Apartment 1A is the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, this so-called apartment is actually way bigger than your house since it has 20 rooms.
The newlyweds, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are now living at the cozy two-bedroom cottage known as the Nottingham Cottage. William and Kate have previously lived here as well so once Harry and Meghan have children, they will most likely to be moving to a bigger place as well.
This cottage is just next to another cottage where another member of the royal family lives. Princess Eugenie, who is William and Harry’s first cousin, lives here with her fiancé Jack Brooksbank. Their wedding will also be at the Windsor Castle in October. Other members of the royal family that lives within the Kensington Palace are the Queen’s cousins.
